so im at the skatepark doing my bmx thing and workin on one 180's when this older really good bmxer starts giving me advice and tells me to try riding with my right foot forward instead of my left. i try this and am like "holy sh!t this feels really akward". he says to go up the miniquarter with the right foot forward and try to spin and low and beholod im spinin all the way around really nicely. he than goes on to tell me that i should start riding with my right foot forward all the time cuz it will help me out once i get better. this feels so akward and since i began riding a bicycle i've always ridden with my left foot forward, the problem is im having trouble getting the full rotation whereas with the right foot forward im getting it. i cant even bunnyhop witht the right foot forward!!

advice?...(any advice thats not along the lines of "dont suck so much" is welcome)

I might suggest trying to get used to riding with both feet forward but until then, do what you can any way you can seems the best thing to do.

its like using your left hand to write when your right handed. so akward and messy and just plain hard to do

I always ride with my right foot forward...it feels as if I have more control. :)
Use your left foot for certain tricks/stunts, and use your right for other tricks that are harder to do with your left.

I always do right forward also. It's hard for me to spin clockwise, even with left forward. I guess you could just use right forward for the stuff that it works for...

Older people sometimes have good advice. It's free, so you should take it whenever you can.

im not saying its its bad advice, im saying it'd b a pain in the arse to have to relearn it all, i cant even bunnyhop like that, its surprisingly hard
