I wear a set of safety glasses that are also sunglasses. They fit well, and ride under my helmet nicely. The other day I got hit square in the middle of the glasses buy a bumble bee. I felt it go up and hit my visor, and into my helmet. Before I could stop it came out the vent. It didn’t sting or bite, so I lucked out. If I had my old helmet on (without the big vents in the top) I am sure I would have been bit.
So the new helmet saved me from a nasty big bee bite, and the glasses paid for themselves.

The only other incident with my helmet is when I hit the hatch of my Ford after a ride. ~Clunk~ Laugh, and called myself an idiot. Put my water bottles and bag in the back, took off the helmet, and ~Clunk again~ this time it hurt.

My kid told me I might need to wear it all the time, so to embarrass him I put it back on and drove home with it on. I laughed watching him sink into his seat, but after everything was done we both laughed about it.

When I first started commuting it was colder out and I took a pair of safety glasses from one of the guys in the shop and used them of the morning. Have given serious consideration to getting a pair with interchangeable lenses but figure I'll just wait until I *need* them rather than just desire to have them.
