There is a used bike tour company selling Specialized 2005 FSR XC for $695.
Do ya'll think this is a good deal? I know it is used but the company seems reputable.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

If there is any kind of warranty remaining or sold with the bike, then hell yeah - check it out and go for it.

They have a money back guarantee for 1 week when you get bike but doesn't look like anything else. The bike store is out of state anyway so I guess it would be hard to have it serviced.

So long as you realize that it's been ridden hard and put away wet. Chances are there's a number of components that will need to serviced and or replaced. That plus the fact that the factory warranty will NOT apply to you as you aren't the original owner. Personally I'd spent the $3-400 extra and get fresh parts and a warranty that will cover me.
If you can understand and handle the info I gave you and you still want it- more power to you.

One other note: I'm no fan of the X-fusion shock they put on this base model. The Fox Float R w/ Propedal is just that much better
