I live in Northborough, MA with my wife, 15 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter.
Like many of you, I have a garage full of bicycles. What got me to this fourm was a question about tandems.
My wife and daughter will only ride with me if it is on the tandem. I really enjoy riding it, but we only have time to do occasionally. It is nice that my daughter is big enough that we no longer need the kiddie cranks (a great invention).
My son's passion is free riding, trials and single track. I can occasionally keep up with him, but not usually. I have and old hand-me-down Bianchi mountain bike with the only suspension being the tires.
My road bike is a Bianchi Axis (Cyclocross). I am a touring rider and appreciate the relaxed frame and higher quality components. I have optimized it for road riding.
There are other bikes in my garage, but I won't bore you with the details.
Nice to meet you all,
John
