Introductions - I'm an African in England

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hi I'm from South Africa, living in the U.K. My cycling is resticted mainly to the road. I enjoy it very much. I have tried my hand at downhill cycling at Whistler in Canada. It was great fun!!!! I have a few mates that are seriously into it and are really good at what they do. I would defnitely try it again.
I own a specialized hybrid cycle that is HUGE. It's like a great big grey horse...just right for my height. I unfortunately dont treat it that well at times, and should pay closer attention to small niggly problems.
Feel free to contact me for whatever!

Hi Rich. I lived in South Africa for about 2 years-- Grahamstown, Fort Beaufort, Cape town. Where did you live when you where there?

Well African, I'm a Paddy living in "Tan land" as we call it. I thought the post was going to be about the brothers in the UK. Is there any "amateur" postings for a guy approaching middle age who tries (most days) to cycle to work to fight the "battle of the bulge" ( no historical/political connotations here!)?
