Does anyone realize how much it would suck if Lance fell durring a race and lost alot of time, like in a TT. His TDF win could be lost by something as little as a crash... not that crashes are little but that would be a shame.

And it happened today. Armstrong lost 27 seconds. But, he got away a lot better than some, including one broken leg.

Cheers,
Jamie

Yeah i know. I think I jinxex him. Maybe I should say something like... "...and Lance won the stage without any effort what-so-ever." We'll see if that works.

Ummm... there're still two weeks to go. Armstron won't win the Tour until he crosses the line in Paris.

I seem to remember that last year, Armstrong was much further back as they headed into the Alps. He was at something like 20th place right up until the mountains and had much more time to make up. I wouldn't worry about it.

HOwever, I really wish Ullrich were here. This was just the kind of break he would have waited for- unless he was in the crash too!

Bummer about Rous, and Shefer- Rous had a great tour last year and Shefer has had a great season so far and is a good climber. Jewish cyclists unite! Too bad he's gone. I hope Moreau doesn't bail.
