Old Schwinn Predator BMX Bike

I bought this Schwinn Predator BMX bike at a garage sale for $35 the owner said It's brand new used 5 times (looks it) it's from 1985 or 1986. It has the black chrome finish, cro-moly frame and rims, but the freewheel on the rear was replace with a coaster brake when purchased new. Was this a good buy? How much would a bike like this be worth now?

I'm going to go ahead and assume that it's worth more than $35 in that condition; if you're planning on selling it, I can almost guarantee that you'll make at least some profit on eBay.

Much more than $35. I'd pay $100 easily. A pretty sad 1979 Mongoose just sold for over $100 on ebay.

holy shiet, i had that same bike, well the frame at least. it was my first "real" bike, crazy man, i wish i still had it. mine was not in that good of condition though. good deal, i would keep it if I were you

Oh how the sun is shining today! Allow me to explain: I have been looking for a bike like that for some time now. All i find are POS crappy ones. That, or people think they are worth WAY more than they are. I used to have on ejust like that when i was a child growing up in Iowa. I'd love to take it off your hands if you should decide to part with it for a tidy profit. Is this in the realm of possibilty?
