Commuting - If you ever feel like skipping the ride to work...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

... watch the movie "Breaking Away". I wanted to hop on my bike and go for a ride at 11pm last night when we finished watching it. Sure, it doesn't have much to do with commuting directly, but, and I had forgotten this part,

*** END SPOILER ***
Sure, it's campy (no pun intended! gosh that's a good one though), but I find it inspirational. Now I need to find that jersey thread over in Road Cycling which linked-up the Team Cinzano jersey.

I'd probably be pretty late for work...

I often feel like skipping the work part of the equation. It's gotten so that my commute is more like a ride interrupted by hours of sitting in front of a computer. Darn these people for paying me.

My rides to and from work are definately the highlights of my working day. I sometimes ride out of work during my lunch hour too. Makes the day more bearable.

The funny thing is it's only about 2 blocks from the Stohler house to the used car lot Mr. Stohler owns (both still exist)-- all on perfectly flat terrain. The rest of us Bloomingtonians have to deal with the durned hills!
