TLD D2 ;)
I would rather the Giro than the met, but I think there were problems with the switchlbade, or that its discontinued.
For size, go to your LBS and have someone help try them on.

Ok beyond spending the most possible. Try them on. TLD doesn't fit me and neither does 661. Everyones head is different and every company makes helmets slightly different :)
try the fox tracer - it's hot (minimal ventilation), relatively cheap (compared to troy lee and dainese) but it is rated for motor sport use (uber protection). Measure around the biggest part of your head then check the sizing charts on the fox website. I use a L/XL giro and wear a L fox.

I do not like the Switchblade. A buddy of mine use to wear one until he had a hard crash. The chin protection did not do its job, busted off and he ended up with 8 stitches and 2 less teeth.
Measure the circumference of your head about 1/2" to 1" above your eye brows for your head size. That will get in the ball park but as stated before, each helmet will fit differently depending on the shape of your head. Wide or narrow cheek bones will also make a difference.
Try as many different helmets as you can. How much you want to spend will also dictate what your choices are.
