So many good ones, but Richard Jeni is the one that probably tops the list for me.
But he's recently been challenged by Bill Bailey. 'Part Troll' is awesome.

OK guys and gals. I'm driving some Scouts to summer camp tomorrow (8.5 hour drive!)and I want some comedy that's relatively clean. You know, I love George Carlin and Cheech and Chong, but they really aren't appropriate for a Scout outing...
I already have Bill Engvall, Weird Al, Dr. Demento, Jeff Foxworthy, Stan Freeberg, Spike Jones, Hot Waffles, P.D.Q. Bach. (I have a special love for musical humor!)
Good examples already posted above: Steven Wright, early Bill Cosby and Imo are OK.
Any others? You have 24 hours...
Thanks!

Steve Martin's - Let's Get Small was my favorite comedy album as a kid. I don't remember it being blue. I remember it having some banjo playing in it. Do the kids today like banjo playing? I seem to remember some on the latest Coldplay album... a haunting, distant, and angst-ridden version of Foggy Mountain Breakdown. Hmm...

Emo Philips and Gallagher are entirely underrated.
I loved Steve Martin's albums. I had Let's Get Small memorized. There are a couple of risque lines but it's fairly innocuous enough for Boy Scouts.
Eubi, the kids might also like Monty Python's Instant Record Collection. Some great bits on that one, including the Bookshop Sketch, The Lumberjack Song, The Cheeseshop Sketch, and some bits from Holy Grail.

For reals, for real? Have yet to see him live, but seen/heard his stuff.
OH and here is a link for Stephen Lynch, not for the faint! Awesome how he shows emotion through his songs on the DVD http://www.stephenlynch.com/discography/index.html#sh
Howard Dean
Yeah, Howard is pretty silly. But George W. takes the cake. Every time I see him, I roll over laughing.

Saw a DL Hughley show on the Comedy Channel a while back and it was freakin' hilarious. I imagine he would be even funnier live(uncensored). Used to thing Dave Chappelle was the funniest guy I'd ever seen but I think DL is even funnier.
