I saw supergo has the conti top touring 2000 in 700 x 28. Is this wide enough for loaded touring?
Does anyone have experience with this size of tire?

Contis tend to run a bit small. For loaded touring I think you should go with something a bit wider than 700x28, whatever they may be in reality.

In my experence Conti 700x38 are really 700x34. I don't have any experience with anything smaller.

Perhaps others will have different opinions. Happy Trails.

700/32 is fine for loaded touring. Keep a close eye on the sidewalls of the coni 2000 tyre however as they have a bad reputation for splitting.

The 28 is also fine for general touring, in my experience, although it is possibly a little harsher. It depends on how much you want to load up. If you are touring with a light load, they are fine. If you are trekking with heavy loads, probably not.

I have just taken delivery of a pair of the full black sidewall 32s with the reflective strips on either side. I am interested to see how they last considering the claims about sidewall splitting -- which I have not experienced with previous sets of TTs with the tan gumwalls.
