I was in Las Vegas all week attending a conference. I rented a bike so I didn't have to wait around for shuttle busses all the time. The hotel suggested I take the bike to my room at night. The easiest entrance and elevator bank for the bike (to avoid going thru casino) left me with a huge walk to my room. I ended up riding the bike through the 1/4 mile of hallways to/from my room every day. I guess anything goes in Vegas.

The bike worked out well. But some colleagues pointed out that I could have rented a car for about the same rate.

I don't think they would have let you park a car in your room. :)

BUT??? ah come on, i even doubt that when you factor in gas too. plus you can't drive a car down hotel hallways. i've done that before- i dont know why, but it's way too much fun.

I was just in Las Vegas as well, working on a conference. I was staying at the Hilton, but the gig was at the convention center. I wished I'd brought a bike.
