I've kinda got the general idea from other threads I've read, but I thought I betta just so's I don't go doing anything supid. General sequence: -take rotors off, -place on flat surface, -hammer with rubber mallet. Does that sound about right? Am I missing anything?
Any suggestions welcome, thanks.

Doesnt work. I just put my bike on a stand, and use an adjustable wrench to grab hold of the rotor and slowly tweak it until its perfect.

Either way will work, to a degree, but it will never be the same and done often enough will give you fatigue problems with nasty results. The best bet is a new rotor from an e-shop ~$10-$15.

I can usually get rotors either true or damn close with my method.

yeah, i don't want to by new ones, there're not that bad. ill try dirtbike's method and see how i go. thanks for your help!
