Hello everyone, I am 25 years old from wichita, KS. I like to run, but running can be hard on the body so I bought this old schwinn road bike off of ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7161616410 . I saw this bike on the walmart site too http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3663046&cat=5297&type=5&dept=4171&path=0%3A4171%3A133073%3A61904%3A5297 probably going to get that denali too. I would like to get this http://www.schwinnbike.com/products/bikes_detail.php?id=408 someday, but I am not there yet. I have not been riding long, probably 2 months now. I got started when I took the family's roadmaster mtn bike for a spin around town, then realize if I was going to go distance I needed a road bike. I like to ride on the bike paths they have here in wichita when the sun is still out http://www.wichita.gov/CityOffices/Park/Bicycling/BikeTrails/ . I usually only can ride the paths on my off days because I work from 3pm-11:30pm, but after work at night I like to ride on the streets because there are very few cars at night. I am not the type to ride in the streets during the day because I don't want to slow down traffic/or get killed. I wished more people in wichita would commute more on their bicycle, it is not a very big city and if more people would ride a bicycle I would fear safer with less cars on the road. Wichita needs to more a bicycle culture like Amsterdam where 40% commute to work or something like that. Oil prices needs to be really jacked up for people to embrace the bicycle culture.
