Ok, I three bikes that I am looking at, Gary Fisher Cake 2 DLX or Cake 1 DLX, Trek Fuel 9, or Specialized FSRxc. I do xc and trails. Which one would be good?

Well, I don't do any of that (yet) but I got a Cake 4 DLX and love it. I usually ride real gentle with my Cake but for some reason today, I came home with mud all over me and my bad boy. I was shocked. I'm quite the pansy when I ride but I'm starting to think that once you get on a machine like that, something takes over and it makes you do things you never thought existed within yourself. And this is my first mountain bike, too.......(sigh)...........................................

They're all good bikes and while I have my preference I have to ask what have you test ridden?
