Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I'm not sure how to attach the baseball cards to the spokes so my bike will sound like a motorcycle. Any help would be appreciated. :D

Just use a clothes pin and attach to the fork so that the card sticks into the spokes by a half inch or so. If that is too complicated, maybe you should get a skateboard.

Er...ah...why do you want to do this?

I was just joking. It's something I used to do as a kid. I thought the gang in the 50+ crowd could relate. Oh well! As you were... ;)

If you put them on both the forks and the seat stays, it sounds like you've got more cylinders!

Who wouldn't want to sound like a motorcycle?

Ya know, the memory is the first thing to go (or the second, or third...I can't remember). So, I clearly remember that about fifty years ago, all the guys in my neighborhood were doing that "card on spoke" thing. But, I really don't remember how the cards were put on...or if the boys did it or their dad's put them on.

But somethings don't change much. I'm sure if I put some cards on my nine year old nephew's bikes, some of his buddies would do it, the fad would spread, then hula hoops would come back, and Rick Nelson's music would get played on the radio...well, I'm sure about the card thing at least.

Every bicyclist I know doesn't care about motorcycles at all.
On a bicycle, the rider is the motor.

I love both bicycles and motorcycles. I am especially fond of touring and I can get a "compressed sense" of bicycle touring on an overnight or multi-day motorcycle trip.

Actually some heavier stuff, like posterboard (the cheap stuff you can buy at a grocery store or local stationery[sp?] store) is better--lasts longer.

I like a good "aaa-OO-ga" horn too. And those little license plates that you hang off under yer saddle with your name on it. . .

Clothespins, shmosepins! you need to get titanium clips for your baseball cards. Weight, after all, is a factor.
