I completed my first Olympic distance tri yesterday(1.5km swim,38km bike, 10km run)
Swim-25:20
T1-1:02
Bike-1:04:50
T2-0:46
Run-1:01:36
Swim and bike were ok, I could have pushed myself harder, but i was trying to save myself for my run. The whole run i felt like i was going to puke my guts out, i ran walked the whole thing. Finished at 2:33:33. 3 minutes slower then i would have wanted for a slowest time. I think my problem is that 2 of the 3 races i have done this year i felt like this on the run, and the only thing i did differently on the one race i felt good on was that i DIDNT eat a power bar before my race. So my next race is in 2 weeks, so i will see if not having one makes me run faster.
I figure if i can hold down a 40 minute ish run for an olympic i will be happy.
