What are good websites (whether velodrome sites or others) that explain track racing (rules, regs, reqs) to beginners?

Any good books, either journal/fiction type stories or refernce books available?

Let's start collecting some useful info.

South Fulcrum - excellent. I really need to use the wikipedia more. Such an underused resource for me! Thanks.

that book, NO Brakes! is actually a pretty good resource for track disiplines, rules and regulations and all that. although its a bit dated, it also has a listing for every velodrome in the country (incl. length, banking, facilities, etc.). the interviews are fairly interesting as well. its not the best written book in the world, but everytime i look at it, i want to go ride as fast as i can. my copy is WAY overdue from the library.
