Ultimately looking to join up with a club or group in Chicago
and become highly involved..

hello. where in Chicago? if neer suburbs go to Village Cycle Sport in Elk Grove and talk to Vince. He will tell you all you need to know. It is a very good road shop, and you can find out about ride groups and such there too.

Welcome!

Definitely check with the Chicago Athlete magazine. They have a lot of the triathlon training stuff going on in the Chicago area.

I have a friend that also trains folks for triathlons. I may have two. So if you're looking for a personal coach, drop me a PM.
Both are located in Chicago (one downtown and the other one is in yuppietown someplace).
