Glad to have found this forum. I've been riding for almost 50 years, but I've been a "cyclist" for about 25 years. Currently I ride my dream bike, a Merlin with Campy Record components. I've completed the Houston to Austin MS 150 4 times and the Hotter than Hell Hundred once -- and I'm going to do it again this August. Look forward to learning from you. :D

Hi Captain Steve, good to see you here. For my first bike tour someday I'd like to do it from Austin to Houston. Flatter country, not as intimidating to me as the hills further to the west. I suppose the MS150 route is a reasonable starting point for planning. Anyway, enjoy your stay here.
