Just got this for free from a garage sale.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v419/wethepeople101/other%20stuff/newbmx.jpg

I dont know what kind it is. But thats not gonna stop me from throwing a couple half decent parts onto it.

So far in my garage for spare parts I got

Alex rim-front
Sun zx35 rear rim
Maxxis mac-daddy tire (on the sun rim)
some crappy kenda street tire on the front
Rush brake leavers
poverty seat.
oddesy pedals or truvativ pedals
primo grips
primo pegs
some other crap i cant think of now.

Its gonna be a fun night.

nice man, i had a bike like that that i just put all my old parts on it to fool around with, the bottom tube of the frame started to crack up at the head tube and i got it welded but the weld got rusty and eventually the bottom tube just snaped right off the head tube and then i rode it until the top tube bend so much that the crank arms were hitting the ground and you couldnt ride it anymore lol, they frame was a really really old chrome mongoose, lol it was fun to fool around with while it lasted though

Yeah, I'd ride that... if it was still 1983.

Its just for screwing around. I can drop it and not give two thoughts about it. If it gets stolen, i'm out what, maybe $100 for parts? better than being out $500 for a bike.

Hey, free is free... I got a free old road bike from a garage sale, had to ride home a couple miles carrying the bike with one hide and riding mine with the other... then I decided it was a pos, and didn't want it.

I got a old nishiki 10 speed bike for free from a garage sale last year. I still ride it when I have to go to town for something. Its not the prettiest or most advance road bike, but hell, it gets the job done and the price was right.

As a person who lives in rural Massachusetts I will try to explain. I dont live WAY out there. Riding into town is more like, going to a suburb type area unlike the boonies in which I and many others in this forum dwell in. Or they could live in a place thats not a town(unimaginable to me), way out in East Whazoo, and have to drive to civilization. I myself when I ride I ride to the next town over which is about 3 miles away(all downhill), and it take me 15 minutes. Heres the difference from Massachusetts and say Montana, In Mass, there is no empty space between towns unlike Montana where theres land thats not in a down without say a Zipcode.

Also queens, old school BMX bikes are awesome. I love Old school bikes, and working on them. So far I've converted a threaded biek to accept a threadless fork put on a 3 PC and sealed rims All on my friends GT Nora cup which is the lightest bike I have ever seen.

I got a CW Racing Products BMX Freestyle from the Junkman who was cleaning out a garage.

It's from the mid 80's.

It's in real good shape but, needs tires.

I am also trying to find a serial number on it but, can't find it.
No other marking only the headbadge with the name.

Can anyone give me any help?

I thought they were some monsters from a bad 80's movie, but that was "Goonies".

My sister was watching that yeterday, but I turned it off and put on Dead Alive. Now there's a quality film.

Yeah, because people always give their old bikes to rich people.

a lesson always 2 b remembered:
free stuff might not be the best stuff,
