Commuting - Your mileage

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm curious. I'm new to this forum and I was wondering what the typical mileage for most of you guys is. I am assuming you commute daily right? Just wondering; this is an interesting forum. Thanks.
BTW, mine is about 25 miles round trip each day in the *good* weather months.

I've got a 21km (13mi) round trip, and while it's been in the reasonable weather months so far I plan to push my definition of "reasonable" as far as I can, and try some winter cycling this year.
8.5 miles each way plus errands and odd trips on the way home.

Ah, the repost "nazis" are out, it seems. Be kind to the no0b, for s/he does not know the extent of his/her no0bishness. :)
That being said... this thread is about any distance, not just a pi55ing contest like in the other thread. ;)
Me? For the moment, about 17 miles RT. Might go up to around 25 if the company really does move (looks fairly certain).

If I were to commute from home my round trip would be 52 miles.
I can however drive to my in-laws and then ride from there, my round trip is only 22 miles or so.
I have not yet commuted, still working on all the gear I need and making sure I am ready for it

Roundtrip is about 28 miles if I hitch a ride home. Otherwise it is 48 miles roundtrip but I haven't had to do that in a long time.

Hi - I'm new to this sub-forum (usually hang out over at MTBing) and new to commuting. Decided to put slicks on my mountain bike and ride to work on the days I can. My round trip is somewhere between 45 and 50 km (estimating based on what maps.google.com gives me).

During the school year, 1 mile round trip, but I come home for lunch, so 2 miles altogether. Then I ride 17 miles round trip to my second teaching job. Altogether I get in about 30 miles per day with additional riding. On the weekends I do a long ride so I try to get in 200 miles per week.

I'm getting back into commuting - and doing exactly the same as you Dewbert. Though, my round trip is 40 miles. Haven't quite worked up to there and back in the same day. I think I'll soon be ready though - I got home tonight and was not very tired at all, and the ol' legs and butt weren't even too sore!
My commute is 41 km round trip, 5 days a week, every day of the year (or at least try to). And I go out for about an hour on the singletracks near my house then wherever we feel like riding on the weekend (on or off-road). Seems like all I do is bike but if I miss one ride, I go crazy!
