The Olympics are worldwide. There is no Chinese olympics or American olympics.

I think he meant, "when the olympics are hosted in china, do you think BMX will have a chance at being added as an event?"

i doubt it.you can ask just about anybody what a homerun or a goal is, and they will probably know. ask somebody about a fufanu or an x-up, they won't have a clue

I remember reading about BMX racing being in the upcoming Olympic as an actual event this time around (as opposed to a trial event), with the UCI/NBL doing the officiating as they do during the Worlds.

As long as it doesn't end up like snowboarding did, with all the burners getting in trouble. Not that freestylers light up...

i remember that article too, or at least the one that was in the Washington Post.
i think it would be great, because if road biking is a sport(just riding your bike really fast and for long distances), and so is snowboarding (where the races have jumps and turns and involve more than just riding) then BMX is a sport, i will definatly watch it...

is it set in stone, or is it still an idea that their toying with?
any racers committed?

Not that it's even remotely performance enhancing.

They seem to think it helped snowboarders. Never helped my riding as a kid. Not that I can remember anyway. ;)

Dude your an idiot. There are no China Olympics

You're actually quite the idiot yourself. The venue for the 2008 Olympic Games is due to be decided July 13, in Moscow. Beijing has a very good chance of hosting them. I guess we'll settle this argument in about 10 days.
