Howdy folks--
greetings from the Boston area. i have been riding for about 8 years now on my specialized hardrock converted to do touring and commuting. looking forward to reading and being part of the forum.
i really got into biking in Oregon--loved touring and the mountains (plus the limited traffic). i came to the NE, became intimidated and longed for those 4 hour rides with only 5 cars, started commuting, got angry and aggressive with traffic, then finally reached some sort of happy equilibrium with it. i am looking to bike more out here and *try* to find some touring options--which means i need to find some routes and a new/used bike. any suggestions for either are welcomed.
