Well I am going to do my first time trial in August and I'm looking for some training advice. I ran across this 40k TT training schedule in Bicycling magazine from the March issue. I'm planning to incorporate it as my training schedule between now and my TT. I have about 2300 miles on the year so my aerobic base is pretty decent.

For those experienced TT'ers, Do you have any comments on the training schedule or any additional training suggestions?

Thanks!

Wheres the baseline testing? I would include a TT test every two weeks to see if your getting faster @ LT. Also optimally you want your LT to be at 93% of Max HR.

Is your TT hilly or flat?

Does the programme make any assumptions about your current state of fitness before you start?
