I'm new to the groups and I'm listed as a junior member. Cool! How do you get promoted in the group, at what point do I go from a junior to the next grade? When/If I become a senior, do I get to use the forum credit card, company jet, Cannondale Scalpel?

You're now a member. I think it's 75 or 100 posts to become a senior member, then after a months membership you can call yourself pretty much what you want.

You might want to think of becoming a donating member (see the link at the bottom of the page).

I got promoted without knowing it! A member now, eh? Wow!

Is promotion through the ranks based on how many threads you actually start, or does it include your replies to other threads as well?

The moderators run a credit check on you then search police files to get a police clearance for your entire family. If you pass in both these areas you get awarded a certain amount of points.

You lose points for every car you own and have points added for every bike you own. The points total is then multiplied by the amount of kilometres/miles you ride in an average week.

If the number they end up with is between 15 000 and 25 000 you get to become a member. Obviously you have passed this criteria. If you're able to get your Aunt's criminal conviction for money laundering quashed it will help raise your points total giving you Senior Membership.

Either that or it's based on your points count and your time as a member. Just keep posting and you'll rise throught the ranks.

You just have to know where to send the check, and how much to make it out for. ;)
