What with all the excitement looking forward to getting my Gemini 1000, I clean forget to take my wife's bike into account. She's 1.62m tall (5'4" in the 'old' size). Are there specific types of full susser for ladies? Looking at the frames available would she be better off with a small or medium size? I think the best way is for her to stand over a bike and take it from there?
The main thing I'm getting at though, is that the frames don't really look too different from one make to another. They all have a reasonably high top tube. She's of the older school, being more familiar with the 'step through' frames, but those don't make good candidates for off-road, assuming there are any.
Has anyone been down this road and chosen a ladies full susser, if such a beast exists (the bike that is)?
