I have an old Celo Europa with classic Campagnolo Record set-up (mid 80s). Is this steel frame from Colnago good for conversion to track? If so, any suggestions on what I should get for its' conversion (besides the obvious).

Conversion to track - do you mean fixed gear street riding or actual velodrome usage? I have seen fixed gear conversions on the track during open rides, but never during sanctioned events. This does not mean they aren't allowed - check with the local velodrome regarding this type of information

As far as parts - besides the obvious? Well, I guess you have it covered as there are no secret hidden parts to a track bike:
frame
headset
stem
bars
seatpost
seat
hubset
rims
tires (rim tape for clinchers)
spokes and nipples
bottom bracket
cranks
pedals
chainring
chain
cog
lockring
and of course, a rider

AAHHH... Dont touch it, leave it how it is and buy a track bike.

yeah? that's what I am leading towards... leaving it alone. I was considering the conversion for track usage, for actual sanctioned racing. Thought I could save some $$ while using a bike that is meant for racing, not sitting in the garage.
