Track Cycling - Pictures of Racing track bikes

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Post your pictures here. Doesn't have to be your bike either.....maybe one you have seen and admire.
Steel and Aluminum bikes don't be bashful either.

That is absolutely beautiful.
The front looks like a Aluminum Shamal tubular rim. I want to say that Rolf wheel too.

Holy pink fastness! It's Rosemary's steriod sister. My sweet girl (my pink Bstone fixie) is asleep now and dreaming of growing up to be such a machine. I won't wake her up. Can you give more info on the frame?

If you want the specs, i've got it all taken apart right now, I can figure out all the parts (don;t have them memorized) and let you know how to do it. Costs about 5 bucks worth of hardware and about half an hour of your time if i remember correctly. thanks for the compliments.

Here's two of me. Sorry for the lighting...the track is indoors which can make picture taking difficult. The second one I think is from leading a miss and out.

It's my only "road bike" too. I ride to the track, loosen the brake cable, ride, readjust cable tension, and ride home. Roger's been cool with my set up.
I'm currently looking for a dedicated track bike so I don't have to keep switching set ups and gears around depending what I'm doing.

Don is good to go. He has a show coming up so if you get the chance and money come out to see the track goodies.

Better than just cool, it's Ice Cool.
I remember a number of years back on TV in OZ, when Gary Neiwand and Darryn Hill were trackstanding, and Neiwand headbutted Hill. Great stuff.

Simmons jumps hard for the finish. Too hard, and gives the term 'skidding on a fixed' an entirely new meaning!*sniff, sniff* " Great!" he thinks" Now I'll never get this suit sold !!!!"
3 months later...
Ebay listing 90120OCP4 : TT/ pursuit/track skinsuit. Euro sz 4. Used only briefly last season. A couple of 'scuff marks' from racing hard, but otherwise GREAT condition.
No refunds.

Could somebody explain the stems on these look track bikes to me?
it was from the old EGRO stems they sold seperate. you can put it in different positions . Depending on what race you was doing, kind of like the Major Taylor stem (moving back and forth).

My new toy..
As stock:
few changes to mine..hated the bars/stem, want to go more track like.
Titec 120mm -15 stem, silver stem spacers.
Front wheel had damaged spokes, so I have another front on right now. Generic spd pedals on right now, will probably go speedplay.
Nitto B123, blue keirin grips and DuraAce silver aero seatpost on the way
