I've got an older, circa 1989-1990, Cannondale Road frame and I am trying to determine the frame size. I've been told that this is encoded into the serial #. Does anybody know how to extract frame size from the serial #? Here's the serial # from my frame: 66311890222.

Thanks

Ask Cannondale?

Yes, I've sent them an email earlier today but I thought I would also try asking here.

From the great Sheldon Brown, this should help:

"Cannondale

Serial number code: first two digits are the size, next 6 are date of manufacture, remainder are unit number. For instance: SN#54021787121 indicates a 54 cm frame, built on February 17, 1987, #121."
