Hello everyone,

I own a cervelo soloist with campy centaur group. The bike is great overall. Although, there is this squeaking noise that's drinving me crazy. I checked pretty much everything: BB, crankarms, pedals, cleats, seatpost, saddle... all of them seem to be ok. So I started checking the cassette and RD and I notice a screw on the RD I've never seen before (see pic). Do you guys know what is it for ? is it to put or release tension on the chain ? Do you think the noise might come from there ?
Thanks,

It regulates spacing between the top idler and sprockets.

After you set it up as instructed, which includes screwing that screw in to its limit, shift to the smallest chainring and largest sprocket. Look at the top idler wheel. If there is interference between it and the sprocket, back off the screw until there is none.

Interestingly enough, the squeak might be comiing from the idler pulleys as well, although the "B" tensioner screw will not have any effect on that.

The pulleys are plastic and sometimes will squeak; a shot of chain lube should help. If they have rubber seals just peel one back (carefully) and let a drop of lube soak in.

That's the "b" screw, which on most other deraillers (and older campy deraillers) is found right next to where the derailler screws onto the frame.
