I've been riding for the last 5 years. My true love is mountain biking and I live real close to a number of mountain ranges here in SoCal, but it's sometimes difficult to hook up with other riders in the same time restraints. But road is another story so I end up riding road more. I mostly like the ultra distance type of rides of double centuries or more. I'm not really all that fast, but my times are respectable.My best double century was 11.5 hours (Solvang Double) but mostly I finish in the 13 hour range.So far I've got 5 doubles done this year and will more then likely get a couple more in. I love everything biking related. You'd figure after 5 + years my passion might wane a little,but it's only got stronger. I love this stuff!
