I have an IRO Mark V and would like to try riding at a velorome. Would it work? BB seems high, would I have trouble with my 175 cranks? Thanks.

BB drop is 5cm? I couldn't find the BB drop earlier when I was looking at the website.

It would be interesting to hear what others have to say about a 5cm drop and 175s.

Seat tube angle is what I would consider agressive road. I think full track geometry in my size is 75 degree seat tube angle

I almost bought one to build as a road fixie, but it has a pretty tight geometry that would look pretty good on the 'drome. High bottom brackets are important on tracks. Depending on the angles of the track, most tracks recommend 165mm crankarms, I think some even require it.

Not sure what pedals are required on Velodromes, but that can help with clearance as well.

I use eggbeaters which have very good clearance for most riding. Old XT flats for riding with regular shoes although I just picked up some clipless compatable sandles. 2 more weeks and I'll be moved and can check it out.
