would it be compatible to use a 9 speed ultegra crank with an old 105 7 speed drive train? I bought a bike with a 105 drive train 7 speed...however the cranks were ofmega 53-42 and its a little steep for where i ride. so a buddy tossed me a set of ultegra cranks to put on and we were wondering if it was a compatible system?
