Hi All,
ive been putting my bmx together and ive found a problem.
When i turn the pedals the chain gets tight in some places more than others aspecially the chain closest to the ground can someone please help me with this problem

I'm not sure you've given us enough information, but . . . from what you're saying . . . it sounds like you've got some tight links. Here's an article that will explain how to fix this . . . if this is your problem:

It sounds to me that your chainring is out of round. This will cause the chain to tighten at the high spot. If it is a spidered crank, try loosening the chainring bolts just a little and spinning the cranks to the tightest spot, give the front of the ring a tap with a soft mallet, and continue this process all the way around the crank revolution, then tighten them up again. If it's a one-piece chainring, there's not a lot you can do. Just set your chain tension at the high spot and live with a little slack on the rest.

Hey yeah its a 3piece cranks first time actually im putting one on its a second hand one. When i have spun the chainring around it does come to one spot that the chain tension is really tight ill do what you sugguested by loosening the bolts and tapping it lower and ill lets yous know.
