I'm recording the OLN coverage on my digital recorder. Is the two-hour evening coverage the same as the early three-hour coverage or is there additional info? Thanks.

I think the prime time coverage is commentated by those dolts Al and Bob. Al doesn't know his ass from his elbow when it comes to cycling. Bob is colorful and all but I can't stand the dumbed down commentary. Tape the live coverage for the benefit of hearing Phil and Paul, if nothing else.

they add some stuff in the evening, usually an extra short interview or 2 with some riders, and the stuff there roving "culture" reporters do. info about the area of that days ride the food and wine of the area, that kind of thing.
the live morning coverage has the best actual race coverage, and best commentators (IMO). the evening stuff has less race coverage and more fluff. so depends what you want to see.

I'd also tape the commentary with ANYONE BUT Trautwig. Richard Simmons would be more informed.

Al Trautwig is an old NBC retread from the 80s. It's hard to believe somebody dug him up.
