Got a Question-

I currently have XTR V-Brakes. I have heard many people talking about frame flex occurring with these brakes(and others). My question is, how do I know if my seatstays are flexing? If I look at them as I brake, will I see something? Do I just need to assume they are flexing if I get poor or fading brake performance with the brakes? Most of my riding buddies have brake boosters and I am thinking about getting a set, but am wondering if I really need them. Any responses would be appreciated. THANKS!

Engage the brakes off the bike with one hand and look at the rear stays when you do. If you are experiencing fade then a set of booster's are a good investment. I have them on my Magura HS 33's they are manditory IMHO with these for they WILL flex your frame and fork.
