I'm a mountain biker turned [addicted] Roadie. I never knew much about fit when I had my mountain bike.
I know that seat height is really variable depending on trail conditions and I have a general idea on how to set my seat on the trails around my area. My question is the saddle-stem drop. On road bikes, you want to have the stem as low as your body can take for the nice aero tuck. But what about MTB's?
I use my mountain bike to get around town and find that the bars being about the same height as my saddle a little wierd. Am i just suppose to live with that? I want to keep an overal "Mountain" geometry. I don't want to change the stem height etc. to suit road riding.
