Any suggestions on my best choices and prices for mail order sew ups? Also the roads are have a lot of pebbles and gravel in places here in Montana. I want to stick with sew ups, any suggestions for a durable, gravel resistant sew up would be appreciated.

I use these as "touring tubulars".

They seem to be very durable. I haven't had a flat yet. They're very fat, so the ride is comfortable. They're not fast.

Those look reasonable if one can get past the questionable Tufo label area.

I've never heard of that before, and I have S33's. Please explain.

The Tufo label/trademark on the tire is loud and garrish, to say the least.
Deda makes 2 different tubulars, one with gum sidewalls for that oh so classic look.
The only place I have seen them available is Business cycles (http://www.businesscycles.com/index.html) in Florida.
There are also tubulars by Conti, Veloflex, Vittoria and others.
What size tire are you looking for? The diamond is pretty hefty (cross tire).

Properly adjusted "tire savers" can help keep the sharp little rocks from staying on the tires.

I've seen worse. I have them on Mavic GP4's and the only thing I see is the Mavic label, unless you look close. Not the same tire as above, though.
Back OT -
I had 20 miles on a Vittoria Kevelar on the back when I ran over a few square feet of brown glass. Popped the vitt, but not the Tufo out front.

I use Continental Sprinter tubulars; which can be purchased on Ebay for about $30 each.
I paid $40 shipped for a pair of Vittoria Nuovo yellow compound, Ebay. Happy!

I've had good luck with La Bicicletta in Toronto (and buffalo), good prices
on the Sprinters (but they only had grey).
Bicycle Hub also had some good deals on tubulars.
