Minor thread hijack here ...
I find it hard to believe (though the dollars involved make it seem reasonable), but France 2 is going to preempt part of their TdF coverage today for the 2012 Olympic venue selection. :eek:
Fortunately there are always RAI 3 and ARD - Das Erste to go to.
EDIT: Now that Paris lost to London, perhaps they will show the TdF. :o

the show the tour on the outdoor life network. live coverage start at 8:30 am eastern and goes to 11:00 or 11:30. then they reshow it pretty much all day long with a 30 or 60 minute show in between. pretty easy to catch the coverage as long as you get the outdoor life network.
