I found a new shortcut on my daily commute. It is a combiantion of a short bike path (500m) and a back alley. Result? One less set of lights, one less busy stretch of road and 5 minutes faster. It now takes me 30 min to get to work which is the same if I drive. So, to those who say it takes too long to bike I'll be able to respond it is the same amount of time and less when there is a car accident causing gridlock for the cagers.
