Has anyone ever heard of anyone ever having a problem with an ACS Fatclaws freewheel? I hear they are super durable and last forever.

Well, i'm running one right now with a KMC 415h chain and a profile 36t blackjack sprocket, and I love it. If you dont' liek that super loud clicking though than this isn't the freewheel for you, i like it though cause riding in the city people here me coming haha, almost reminds me of having some basebal cards in the spokes.
Overall very solid piece though, I got mine after meeting osmeone who swore by it and has had his for several years.
check out some reviews of it on www.bmx-test.com they have freewheels under Misc i believe.

Yeah I heard that it was loud but that is okay . Reminds me of when i was little and putting baseball cards in the spokes like you said.

Cassettes are much louder if all the grease is removed

I had heard that AC 888 was better but didn't need all the extras.

I'm funning a FAT CLAWS right now and have had no problems out of it.
Try and check it before you buy it, the threading is way out on lots of them and they can strip hubs.

everyonce in a while i clean it out though, but thats just becuase it gets dirt in it and starts the dreaded "ghost pedaling" eeek!
