I am seeing how popular S&M holmes frames are. I have been riding one lately, and I think it is a major drawback on my set-up. I am running TNT sealed hubs with Super 7x rims, which doesn't make sense on a 25lb steel frame. I have a Redline Proline Pro frame at work I am going to switch all my parts over too, and I was just wandering if there is any market for a used Frame(good condition)?

Is it the Holmes Classic or the Next Generation? There's a definite market for the original ones, but it's much smaller for the NGs, due to their weight (as the Classics, in addition to kicking ass in the first place, were way ahead of their time as far as weight and strength go).

Not sure, how can I tell? It is chrome(nice chrome job) and it is the oversized BB.

Oversized BB? You mean the American, which has been the industry up until about two years ago?
A Holmes Classic won't be at all overbuilt, and will basically look like a modern double-diamond frame - skinny tubing, light weight, basically a race bike with 990 mounts. A NG, on the other hand, weighs about 7 lbs, and is somewhat overbuilt.
i have run all sorts of businesses, been employed by all sorts too, mostly retail and wholsale, and its taught me that theres a market for anything and everything if you know where to look...

I am pretty sure its a classic, because the bike was built for racing when I bought it, and I was looking at pictures of the NG, and when the bottom tube meets the front, it is braced differently than the NG.

That looks like a dirtbike, due to the right triangle gussets at the downtube/headtube junction

The Holmes was a Dirtbike with longer top tube, genius.
