Does anyone have any suggestions for bicycle-friendly campgrounds near Victoria, BC, Canada?
All I have found on the internet are privately owned RV-campgrounds. I envision asphalt stalls with electic/water/cable hookups, and generators running all night long...nooooooo, please, not that!!! The one thing appealing about an RV park is the increased probability of finding ice for our brews. A b&b would be nice, but it's high season...and I'm cheap. I'm holding out for something more economical.
Unless we extend the trip, we have one full day available for seeing all we want to see in Victoria, plus, visit Lush and a probably a bike store and definitely ride to Buchart Gardens. Fo this reason, something close to Victoria would be ideal.
