Once is cool with me, though I did watch the end of the stage the first time it was on-air. I couldn't wait with tivo... I had to know NOW!

5:30 am feed, then 3 hour ride, then maybe twice before going to work!

You are addicted... isn't it great!

Ouch, I didn't even think about it but yeah 5:30 for you guys out there. Dude you really need to get Tivo. I never watch it live anymore. On the weekends, I wait 45 min or so on the live feed and then I can skip all the commercials. By the end of the stage, I am usually pretty close to real time.

I have to work during the week, but I am pretty much glued to letour.com. Then I watch it once all the way through and I replay all the good stuff and skip the commercials.

I watch it in the morning for an hour before getting to work, and then I watch it again at night, although at night I flip back and forth between commercials.

As soon as I get to work, though, I pull up the TdF site and watch the live feed reports to see what's going on in the race.

All of you guys that just watch the Tour should stick around until the end of the season. The Vuelta usually ends up being the most exciting grand tour of the year (as it's been for the last few years.. it always comes down to the final day), I'm not sure if it can match this year's Giro though.

Once, with pre- and post-stage shows, that's about six hours.

Tomorrow, the whole stage (about 6H45M, starting 10M prior to the Depart Fictif) plus the pre- and post-stage shows AND the long interview of LA after the stage with J-R Godart at 1800 CST.

Knocks the hell out of the day - I can hardly find time to ride. :D

I'm missing the live showing to do a crit, and then I have work at night :(. I'm hoping to catch at least one showing.

It's sad. People are so enthusiastic about cycling for a month and then they dissapear for another year.

Will that be on TV?

Don't judge solely on the participation of the forum. I am one that usually only hangs out here a little before, during, and a little after the TDF. The TDF is so well covered (thanks to OLN) that it's fun to talk about everything that's going on. I haven't found another race with such good coverage... not to mention it is the king of all grand tours. Just because I'm not on the forum all year doesn't mean I'm less enthusiastic about cycling.

I hope there is some way to keep the TDF coverage once LA is gone, but I'm also aware that he is the only reason many viewers are tuning in. Hopefully, enough people got the cycling bug that they can cover more races. There's nothing like being able to see it. One day (when I'm rich) I'm gonna see it live!

Zero today. I'm waiting for my brother to get off work so I can see the stage in full, but I did wake up this morning and put the laptop next to my bed so I could watch this tiny tiny video feed of the Tour and read the updates provided on the side. Woke up just in time to see what happened at the end of today's stage too.

Zero. Work calls me away! I will have to watch the (gulp!) extended primetime coverage with Al & Bob & Kirsten and that other guy with the mech bits. Such useless fluff. It's almost like the Travel Channel meets Food Network. But on the weekends I get to watch Phil and Paul. Yay!

Last year was the first year they didn't do daily, live coverage. I'm not sure if they'll continue that trend. They do show it on the weekends, though, which is better than nothing - and the detailed reports from VeloNews and cyclingnews.com certainly help.

I only get to watch about 1.5 times this year. I never thought being employeed would be so annoying. I to tape the live feed everyday and watch it when I get home in and around a ride. Then catch some of the primetime coverage when I get get the chance. I used to wake up and watch it live, then most of the replays throughout the day often missed real primetime but woudl catch the nightly repeat of primetime and repeat. Trying to bike 2 hours a day, watch 6 hours a cycling, sleep and go to work really does not leave a lot of time.

it is on in the house all the time on 3 tvs.... great stuff and fun to watch.

but surely those long commercial breaks every ten minutes or so are against some rule??? if i had a nickel for everytime the announcer has said '....when we come back...'
