Did you search the forums yet? Didn't think so. This question gets asked about every 5 days.

If anyone answers him before he does a search, be prepared for a brutal mocking.

Get the Poverty cranks or some Diamond Back cranks.

The money you lose by not using the search function will be a lesson you can make use of for the rest of your life. ;)

I searched and saw your reply, so I searched again, but unfortunately nobody answered this question (search: Free, Agent, Crank).

I have an '04 Hellcat and was trail riding when the right-side pedal popped out of the crank arm - stripped the threads. The pedal is fine but threads are messed-up - I cut my hand trying to hold the crank arm steady and using a wrench to re-thread the pedal - that chromoly gets sharp when it's been tweaked... Anyhoo, just wondering if there is a decent replacement for the arm only?

I checked with Free Agent and they only sell through their dealers. The local Free Agent dealer in Plano wants $100 for the crank arms - says I need two, which I know is not right, and besides, that's almost 1/2 what I paid for the bike, brand new.

Dan's comp offers poverty crank arms "by the arm." Does anyone know if it will fit the Hellcat cranks? The gentleman from Free Agent told me all their crank arms are 180mm stock. Also, does anyone know if the Poverty arms are any good? They're also chromoly (sp?).

Thanks.

Rob

Get the Odyssey 41 Thermal crank. It's prety lite, it has a lifetime warrenty, and if you get the 170mm it's only 100$! Thats an awesome deal. I'm getting em' soon, except in 180mm.

Thats your problem. Try searching for just "cranks". Read all the replies.

fit cranks suck.

there is nothing wrong with Fit cranks. one of my mates has them, and they are realy strong, and there have been no problems and he has been riding them for almost a year now. he hasn't even serviced them.
