I just got a new car and am trying to find a rack. I have decided on getting a hitch rack, but I am not sure which one yet. My car is a 2005 Honda Civic Sedan. I am getting a 1-1/4" hitch for it. Right now I am looking at the Performance Xport Slipstream 3 bike rack link (http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=18656&subcategory_ID=4411). I see that the hitch part folds up, but do the arms that hold the bike fold too? I want to be able to store it compactly in the trunk. I emailed performance, but I haven't gotten a response and I want the rack soon.
The Hollywood racks look almost identical to the performance ones. Are they made by the same company? Should I move up to one of the nicer performance racks? Any other racks I should consider? $200 is the max I can spend, but the cheaper the better.
