Hi,
Anyone know if there is any difference between a Suzue BMX & Track hub?
Reason for asking, saw some NOS Suzue hub at a bikeshop selling mainly BMX. Pretty good price.
But kind of heavy. BTW I am setting up my first fixie.
Thanks guys.
The BMX hub isn't going to have lockring threads. A lot of times flip-flop BMX hubs have different sized threads on both sides so you can run the smaller free-wheels on one side and the standard sized on the other.DO NOT buy a BMX hub if you're planning on building a fixed gear and think you'll ever ride with no brakes.
