Professional Cycling - public TdF view?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anyone know of a place in NYC to watch the tour, like a bar, on OLN? I haven't found a malable barkeep...
How about in Colorado Springs?
Not many bars open at the time the Tour is on.

Not quite NYC but across the river in Newport, there's an Irish bar called Dorians that has all the major sports channels on. Last year, a co-worker and I snuck down there last year and watched the time trial up Alpe D'Huez.
I guess I'll start tipping more and see what I can do.
Good point about bars opening that early - the 8pm show might be a better bet.

Yesterday I stopped into a Buffalo Wild Wings to pick up some takeout (I only eat healthy on weekdays!), and while sitting at the bar waiting for my order, I watched an ESPN recap of the week's TdF action on a small TV over the bar while the enormous projection set next to it played yesterday's NASCAR race. The guy next to me starts jumping up and down, saying, "DID YOU SEE THAT???? RUSTY blah blah blah" and he turns and sees I am looking at the TdF coverage and says kind of sheepishly "oh, never mind." Good thing I wasn't wearing any spandex.
