Does anyone know if I need to register my trike? I live in Los Angeles. Thanks.

I think there's a national bike registry, but that's for theft tracking. There's no need to register your trike as a vehicle unless it has a motor.

Twenty years ago in my town, you needed to register your bike. They even gave you a little license plate. It was a buck. When I took up riding again about 8 years ago I never even bothered to check to see if I needed to register it.

JenM, if you're concerned just call the local Police dept., they'd know if you needed to register your bike.
